Dayparting

Dayparting means changing your bids by the hour or the day of the week, to match when shoppers are more likely to buy. It is an advanced tactic. It only helps once you have enough data to see a real pattern.

Example

After weeks of data, you see that your conversion rate is much higher on Sunday evenings. You raise bids then, and lower them in the early morning when clicks rarely turn into orders.

Where it matters most: Book 5, The Advanced PPC Clarity Guide, in the chapter “Dayparting and Budget Allocation Mechanics.”
