R. M. Aubin trained as an engineering technologist and worked in oil and gas engineering design. That work grew from drafting into building 3D models and extracting the drawings and deliverables from them, a job where every part has to be clear and in the right place. Build the model right once, and everything that comes out of it is right. He writes books the same way.

He began studying Amazon selling in 2022 and has sold on Amazon since 2023. Since 2024 he has mentored new sellers with The FBA Start-Up, across more than 400 one-on-one calls. The common problem was rarely effort. It was advice buried in jargon. These books aim to fix that: plain words, in order, nothing assumed.

Robert lives in Alberta with his wife of over 30 years and various pets.
