Ad group

An ad group is a folder inside a campaign that holds related ads and the keywords or products they target. It keeps related things together so you can see what is working.

Example

In your cutting board campaign, one ad group holds keywords about size, such as “large cutting board.” Another holds keywords about material, such as “bamboo cutting board.”
